“The mind, the body and the soul weave an intimate tapestry. Recognizing this simple fact is essential to healing”
ABOUT CARLA
Carla Wills-Brandon, M.A., is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the author of twelve published books discussing topics ranging from relationships, healthy intimacy, sexual healing, self esteem, sexual trauma, addiction and recovery to grief, death, afterlife research and spirituality. She has appeared on numerous television programs and has lectured across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Carla’s latest book, “Heavenly Hugs: Comfort, Support, and Hope From the Afterlife” will introduce you to both the historical and modern day heavenly visions the dying often encounter before physical death occurs. Visited by deceased family and friends only they can see, death loses its sting. Friends, family and healthcare workers also report seeing “something” leaving the body at the moment of passing.
Such experiences have been documented for centuries and continue to be scientifically researched today. These comforting encounters strongly suggest the personality, soul, or consciousness continues after death. After reading this book you will learn physical death is nothing to fear.
She continues to work in private practice with her husband of over 40 years, Michael Brandon, Ph.D. The Brandons live with their two sons, Aaron and Joshua, in a historic home on an island "just off the coast" of Texas.
Carla received her undergraduate degree in psychology at California State University Fresno, in Fresno, California. She then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology Fresno, in Fresno, California.
Three of her books have addressed food disorders. In her search for alternative suggestions for those individuals suffering from diet and food related issues she completed a two year course of study and dissertation in a Doctor of Philosophy in Holistic Nutrition program at Clayton College of Holistic Health. Her dissertation was titled; 'A Four Pronged Approach to the Holistic Treatment of Food Disorders.' Having both traditional and alternative education has provided her with a better rounded approach to addressing one of society’s largest health concerns. Currently, she is working on another book about food issues and weight concerns.
All of her books are available on Amazon.com and Abesbooks.com. Carla also has her very own podcast on this website and through iTunes. And you can see all of Carla’s early “hairdos” in various TV appearances over the years by linking to Carla’s TV.
